One of the largest residential complexes in Sochi at the time of its construction, known as “One. Two. Three!”. The initial concept sketches were developed in 2012. Our proposal was selected by the client through a closed, invitation-only architectural competition.
The project’s uniqueness lies in its planning concept, which combines corridor-style and sectional building typologies. This hybrid approach eliminated deep, poorly lit apartments and made it possible to design layouts where each unit’s width exceeds its depth, maximizing natural light and livability.
For each building, a covered parking structure was planned, with its roof designed as a shared outdoor recreation area for residents. Access to the children’s playground was intended to be provided directly from the building via an elevated pedestrian bridge. This solution allowed for a complete separation of vehicular and pedestrian circulation at different levels while fully complying with fire safety and urban planning regulations.
